22nd August 2009 - According to the guys at GTPlanet, in an interview conducted by French site GameBlog.fr with Kazunori Yamauchi, the release date of Gran Turismo 5 release was hinted. The key part of the interview which is translated by the guys at GTPlanet was as follows:
“I really understand that lots of people are interested in GT5, and we will do everything we can so that the game is released quickly. But we are focusing our priorities and Gran Turismo will come out on the PSP the 1st of october first. The only thing I want to tell you today, is that GT5 will be released shortly after this date.“
So it looks as though we could definately be seeing Gran Turismo 5 in 2009 and even more interesting is that if it's released shortly after Gran Turismo on PSP, could we see GT5 being released on the same day as FORZA 3!!! Wouldn't that be a good sales battle!!!
